Former LSU Tiger Alex Bregman was named Most Valuable Player of the 2018 MLB All-Star game on Tuesday night, representing the Houston Astros in his first All-Star game appearance.

With the game tied 5-5 in the 10th inning, Bregman hit a go-ahead home run putting the American League ahead in a game it went on to win 8-6.
