2023 PG UNDERCLASS ALL-AMERICAN GAMES

Landon Hodge is a 2025 C/2B with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Agua Dulce, CA who attends Crespi Carmelite. Taller and long frame with an athletic look and lots of room to add strength. A primary catcher, loose hips and very quick feet. Anticipates and replaces the feet with good direction. Really quick transfer and release and feel to put the throws on the right side of the bag. Popped a 1.91 during drills and showed very good 78 mph arm strength. A left-handed hitter, starts with a narrow base using a controlled lift trigger. Rhythm in the hands and a direct/clean path through the zone. Stays behind the ball and has very good timing out front. Very mature approach hitting balls to all fields during batting practice. Handles arms well in game and is quick to the dirt to block. Very good student.

No need to pay attention until after the draft.

There’s potential there - he’s going to grow quite a bit freshman year.

175 must be an old weight. He looks to be closer to 200.
