Kentucky Wildcats Insider Matt Jones of Kentucky Sports Radio hosted a Twitter Space on Sunday to discuss John Calipari taking the Arkansas job and named three candidates that could replace him in Lexington. Per On3:

Jones spoke on a Twitter Space amidst the connections between Calipari and the Razorbacks on Sunday night. In his statements, he listed three coaches that he thinks that the Wildcats could now pivot to in an unexpected coaching search.

Alabama’s Nate Oats
Baylor’s Scott Drew
Illinois’ Brad Underwood
All three would be great candidates. Who do you think Kentucky will end up hiring?

Kentucky is just another school. Tradition and prestige don’t make a damn bit of difference in modern College sports. I’d require Kentucky to make me a colonel just for the hell of it.

Sounds like Oats will be the hire. UK is about to turn it up. Great hire.
