In his Kentucky days playing LSU, you tried not taking him seriously. Believing somehow that he didn’t belong on the field. But he gave us everything we could handle and then some. The guy was an athlete and a truly memorable competitor. RIP Jared. You earned the respect!

I recently read where he had gotten to more than 500 pounds. I can't imagine the struggle he must have had with weight his entire life. RIP Hefty Lefty.
