Good thing he wasn’t at Tiger Stadium, he would have to arrest 80% of the crowd
user avatar
30 percent of that 80 percent would have left at halftime to beat the traffic.

What an overreach of a threat. Bogus, and terrible use of services.

Ushers are out of control. Also, the cop should’ve told the usher to frick off.

Is there a law against standing at a sporting event?

No but those managing the facilities can likely trespass you if you are continually obstructing views of people behind you and they complain. The terms on tickets give them a lot of leeway to make up rules as they go. I get both sides. Being courteous is a good rule for both sides. Saw some older couple have their view obstructed most of a a Saints game once. They were kind about it but you could see they were missing a lot of the game because the people in that secion were up and down the whole time. Asking someone in their 70s/80s to have to stand up most of a game is a lot. Not even someone technically handicapped. They were just older and couldn't keep up.
