According to reports out of Youngstown, Ohio, police are investigating an incident involving Cardinal Mooney head football coach Carl Pelini and a player's father following the team's 20-6 loss to Warren G. Harding on Friday. A police report filed Friday says Pelini was in his office following the game when the player's father entered and asked who was "giving his son a hard time." When Pelini said it was him, the man allegedly "sucker punched" the former Florida Atlantic University head coach...quote:
"The report also states that other coaches who witnessed the attack told police officers that Pelini fell to the floor and the player's father was on top of the coach, continuing to strike him," said 21News. "The coaches intervened, and at that point, the man left."
