Golfer Tom Hoge set the course record at Sawgrass on Saturday, finished tied for 3rd with the VikDaddy, and made himself a cool $1,475,000 this week. Did that change this man? Not one bit, he still flew home in coach...

I spent 500 grand in 3 months a few years ago. I totally understand. Plus maybe no room to upgrade.

Hoge doesn't take home the full $1.3 million. Caddy gets about 8%, agent 20%, coach, trainer, expenses 5%. And taxes 45%. So Hoge nets $479k. Still great for a week's work, but there are a lot of hands in that cookie jar.

Are you really under the impression that his agent gets 20%?

Agents get a cut of endorsements bro.
Not prize money.

only the mega players fly private jets, usually paid for by their sponsors. Not every Tour card member flies on a Gulf Stream, in fact, few of them do.

you wouldnt think that after watching Full Swing. I think Dahmen might have been the only one profiled who didn't fly private.

At least it's not SWA. That looks like a Delta seat which is a step up in and of itself.

Probably booked his flight to the event as a roundtrip ticket.
After taxes and caddy fees, this probably isn't the windfall it seems. It's very expensive to play on tour, and only a handful of payers make jet-set money. This just shows how smart he is with his money.

Well he had to cancel 2 flights because he didn't think he would be there on the weekend and with the play delays.
