Police Called On Georgia Fans Chanting At Indianapolis Restaurant
Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports
Georgia fans have descended upon Indianapolis ahead of tonight’s national championship game against Alabama. Last night, Bulldogs fans were at a local restaurant rallying the troops during dinner with some cheers and songs until someone called the police on them...
quote:

Georgia sports insider Radi Nabulsi was at St. Elmo Steak House in Indianapolis when a group of Georgia fans started getting wasted. One fan sang the old song, “Ain’t nothing finer in the land, than a drunk, obnoxious Georgia fan.” To which several other fans replied, “Gooo Dawgs!”

Apparently, other patrons at the restaurant didn’t appreciate that. The cops were promptly called, and when they showed up, they demanded that the Georgia fans calm down.

Well Yankees being poor host? Shocking! I’ve seen many unruly Sugar Bowl fans partying hardy in New Orleans. The locals, who know how to host athletic events, just smile and collect all those tourists dollars.

I wouldn't go out to a nice restaurant in downtown Indy right before a. Hampionship game and expect a nice, quiet evening. That being g said, I wouldn't act like an idiot in a fine dining establishment, either. I've acted like an idiot, before, but it was always in a bar, and not in a prime steakhouse...

Good for whoever called the cops. If I’m out enjoying a dinner on the town and people who are there for an event start acting the fool, I’m calling the cops the very second I am disturbed

The way I see it, it is poor hospitality. If your city is hosting a huge football championship game between two SEC rivals, you should be able to welcome them with open arms. Now, if it were LSU's 'STTDB' ....
