I think that it would depend upon the franchise culture that Kirby would be working within.

There are simply some environments that are so toxic that any self-respecting coach would avoid the job at all costs... AKA NY Jets

Kirby would tank in the NFL like Saban because he couldn't hog so much talent away from other teams like he does now

You sound like a pessimistic parrot. Alot of college professors would tank teaching elementary schoolers & vice versa.

That's why they are where they are...
People have their strengths and Kirby is clearly maximizing his.
