ATHENS, Ga. - Special teams coordinator Scott Cochran and offensive analyst Darrell Dickey have resigned to pursue other opportunities, the team announced Wednesday.

Kirk Benedict, who has served on Kirby Smart's staff as special teams analyst the last two seasons, will be promoted to special teams coordinator.

"I want to thank Scott and Darrell for their contributions to Georgia football. We wish them all the best moving forward," Smart said.
Cochran joined Georgia in 2020 as the team’s special teams coordinator after serving 13 years as Alabama's head strength and conditioning coach.

Fishy. But love how Kirby handles things. Nobody needs to know why. Wish them to prosper in other endeavors in the future is the way to go.
