Four-star quarterback Jake Fromm announced Thursday that he has flipped his commitment from Alabama to Georgia.

The 6-3, 220-pound pro-style prospect from Warner Robins, GA (Houston County) announced the news on Twitter.


Fromm is rated the No. 4 pro-style quarterback in the country and the No. 6 overall player from the state of Georgia for 2017, according to 247 Sports. The Bulldogs have six commitments for the class of 2017 with the addition of Fromm.

In Houston County he is known as Jake from State Fromm...a friend of mine's son used to play football with him. Pretty good kid; when my friend told me he committed to Bama I just shook my head. This news made me smile.

I hate Bama, but this doesn't even move the meter for them. They lost Ricky Town, who was a top 3 pro style QB at the time, and then picked up Barnett who finished as a 5 star and is the likely starter this year.
