Georgia senior cornerback Deandre Baker has been named the winner of the 2018 Jim Thorpe Award, presented annually to the top defensive back in college football.

Baker received the honor at the College Football Award show on Thursday night.

He beat out finalists Julian Love from Notre Dame and Greedy Williams for LSU.
