Here's How Much XFL Players Are Getting From Bankruptcy
© Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports
COVID-19 pretty much ended the relaunch of the XFL and put them into bankruptcy. The Rock now headlines a group that purchased the league last summer, with the intent of yet another relaunch. In the meantime, according to a report by Daniel Kaplan of The Athletic, the XFL’s players are getting screwed on their unpaid wages claims from the league going under...
quote:

Last week, the administrator Peter Hurwitz wrote the court, he is “prepared to calculate the rejection damages in the amount of $7,280 ($1,040 weekly salary multiplied by seven weeks remaining under the Player Contract).”

However the players will not get $7,280, that is just what Hurwitz determined is a legitimate claim. Farrow estimated players would get eight to 12 percent of that.

You better believe that...Attorney = a license to steal money! They charge what they want, when they want, and as often as they like!
