Florida edge rusher Jack Pyburn entered his name in the transfer portal this week, and several outlets have reported that his departure is due to his demands of NIL money and guaranteed playing time being rejected. Per On3:

Pyburn made the announcement Tuesday that he would be going into the portal. Gators Online reported that Florida and Pyburn could not come to terms on Pyburn’s NIL compensation and specific requests he and his advisors had regarding playing time.

Gators Online spoke Thursday with Pyburn’s camp, which made it clear that his move was not over the money and more about getting assurances on increasing his overall snap count as well as his usage in third-down situations.

For that kind of money let him pay his own way to school. Seems fair enough to me. Give his scholly money to some other kid that might not be on a full scholarship.

Good for Florida. Word is that he's taking a visit to TAMU. Regardless of his production, I don't want that kind of cancer in the locker room.
