Auburn officially announced the hire of new wide receiver Kodi Burns on Monday.

The former Auburn receiver and graduate assistant will replace former wide receiver coach Dameyune Craig who left to take the same job at LSU. Per AuburnTigers.com:
quote:

"I'm really excited to be back home at Auburn," Burns said. "I was fortunate to be a part of very successful teams at Auburn, and I look forward to helping the program be successful in the future. I appreciate Coach Malzahn giving me this opportunity and I can’t wait to rejoin a lot of familiar faces on the offensive staff. I’m ready to go to work."
Burns was a part of Auburn's 2010 National Championship team and caught a touchdown pass from Cam Newton in the title game.

Kodi Burns is an electrifying quarterback that can beat you with his arm and legs. Kodi Burns is ultra quick in the pocket and virtually impossible to stop in a one on one situation. Kodi Burns is the type of quarterback that can put so much pressure on a defense because of his ability to make a play outside of the pocket. Kodi Burns is also a good passer that shows all the throws. Kodi Burns is a "Michael Vick" type of signal caller and very exciting to watch.
