Arkansas parted ways with Sam Pittman on Sunday and named Bobby Petrino as interim head coach.

Petrino, who was once the head coach at Arkansas from 2008 to 2011, could be considered a candidate to land the job permanently.

Here's a list of five candidates who could land the job, according to ESPN:

SMU coach Rhett Lashlee
Tulane coach Jon Sumrall
Arkansas offensive coordinator Bobby Petrino
Memphis coach Ryan Silverfield
Colorado coach Deion Sanders
