Comedian Tom Arnold Says Nick Saban Had “Interest” In NY Giants Job
Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports
I know Tom Arnold used to do drugs, but hmmm. Arnold was on Paul Finebaum Friday and told listeners that Alabama head coach Nick Saban “expressed interest” in the New York Giants job just hours before they hired Ben McAdoo. He claims he knows this because he's friends with Giants chairman Steve Tisch. Again, hmmm...

People will keep throwing the "Saban is leaving" darts over and over. One day it will be true and they will say, "Told you so."

I am sure Saban is getting tired of having all that talent and winning NC's- he's ready to throw it all away! lol

I think its possible that he would want to try to prove himself in the NFL where he failed. What else does he have to prove at the college level? But I am pretty damn sure if this was true Tom Arnold would be the last person to know if this were true or not.

It's on the internet so it must be true right?

Until Sagan says he's not ever leaving, the NFL is always a possibility with him. I mean, if he tells everyone he isn't going to leave for the pros, nothing in his past would leave us to believe otherwise, right?

Everyone assumes that because he said it that ONE time it must mean Saban is notoriously flakey. For the last 10 years he has said he's staying at Alabama, and guess what? Hasn't gone anywhere. This myth needs to die. He's not leaving.
