Alabama head coach Nick Saban announced Wednesday that backup safety Daniel Wright has been suspended for a violation of team rules. Per AL.com:

Wright was not seen at practice earlier in the afternoon. The sophomore had appeared in the first four games but didn't play last Saturday in a 56-14 victory over Louisiana.
