On Friday, Alabama officially announced their new offensive coordinator being Steve Sarkisian and Pete Golding's promotion to defensive coordinator...

Per Nick Saban...
quote:

“We are excited to be able to assemble such a talented group of coaches to develop our players both on and off the field. These coaches have a great mix of energy, enthusiasm and experience that will be a tremendous asset to our program. They are all excellent teachers of the game and fantastic recruiters who bring a wealth of experience to our staff.”

Let’s send Sark a keg of Abita to celebrate his new job. Hope he’s as good there as he was in Atlanta.

Nicky & Sark will be seen arguing on the sideline all season!

Sarkisian is a pretty good mind, but I don't think he meshes well with Saban, and that's not even considering that people with a drinking problem don't need to work for Saban. DC is irrelevant as we know.

The only name on the sideline that should matter to the rest of the SEC is Nick Saban. That name will continue living in their head.

Saban keeps winning regardless of his staff. What does that tell you?

Clemson exposed these people, regardless of their coordinators. They showed you how to beat their asses and shut Saban up. LSU should take notice and do the same, but I don't see them getting it done with a Ensminger.

As good at recruiting as Saban is you would think he could have at least got some 4 star coaches.

Don’t matter. Alabama won 2 titles with Jim Mcelwain.

Can’t tell if that’s sarcasm or if you’re serious. Those are two very sought after Asst coaches in all of CFB. That young DC, Pete Golding, will be a HC in 3 years at a major program. He’s already been DC at smaller schools and done well. And Sark is well known for his offensive production. When he’s sober.
