I saw a LSU fan piss all over some bar on Bourbon the day before the national title game. No one cared, not even the bar tenders behind the bar itself. It was like it was normal.

having somebody tell you what you did the night before while passed out on the bar does not count.

I've peed on the bar under the bartop on Bourbon several times.

I didn't put my genitals on anyones face while they were unconscious though.

2 years is ridiculous. But he will be out before a year.

I think 30 days in jail would have been sufficient. Had it been a female being teabagged, there would be no question that he should spend 5-10 years in prison

There shouldn't be a difference based on the gender of the victim.

This says it all. This is why I have zero sympathy for him.

I think it's good. These Bama fans come to New Orleans acting like they own the place and disregard all laws. I saw it first hand as I was working in the French Quarter at the time. So many of these idiots were like, "New Orleans is BAMA COUNTRY". No it's not you dumb arse redneck. They use this excuse to frick up anything in their path, including our beautiful city of New Orleans. I have to remind them constantly that this is an actual city, not some trailer park in Alabama that they are used to.

Just a reminder Bama people, New Orleans is in the state of Louisiana and the majority of people here support LSU. The rest are Tulane fans. Everyone else doesn't matter.

Honestly, stupid shite like this is why America needs caning. Give the dude about 10 lashes and let him move on with his life.

Really not safe for work or for faint of heart.

I love the two year punishment but I'm sure he'll serve far fewer days behind bars than that.

Brian Downing Is a grown man and he has to pay the consequences. Society, in general, and his family, in particular, are better off with him in jail. He might come out a better person and lead a different life.

No doubt he will get "rammered" and "jammered" in prison but he can probably write penpal letters to Updyke to help cope.

Can convicted felons possess man-poms in this country?

it's in a public place to eat on the biggest tourist place in the state.

teabag with pants on, 30 days. pullin junk out, 2 years, possibility to go down to 1 with good behavior.

No man should be allowed to, but apparently in Alabama men waving pom-poms is acceptable.

Way too harsh for the offense. It was a stupid move and embarrassing for Alabama fans but 2 years in jail is ridiculous. 30 days and probation plus community service would have been good. I hope there is something built in to possible reduce the time served.

Two years is a long time, I guess, but it's hard for me to care what happens to this clown.

I think it's a shitty deal. It only sets the precedent for the whole team to get two years after they flop em on LSU players foreheads tomorrow night.

Seriously, I do think the 2 year sentence was a raw deal. The guy made a horrendous mistake, but there wasn't real malevolence behind it...he was just a dumbass who watched too much Jackass but forgot to "not try this at home"

Typical..just because he's one of your own doesn't mean you have to take up for him

If you're a perverted hick that is idiotic enough to pull out your testes and rub them on an unconscious man in public, you probably will get a cell mate with a large man named twinky and never be the same

If the guy was stone cold sober when he did it, I'd say two years may not be enough but he was drunk. That should play into the sentence somewhat. Temporary excessive stupidity.
