It's the fact that he pulled out his testicles in a public restaurant and rubbed them repeatedly over a passed out guys face.. to the joy of Bama fans surrounding him

I'm not sure about Alabama, but the normal population doesn't do this type of shite

He will have as many therapy sessions if not more than the victim for his harsh experiences in prison

he also doesn't have to register as a sex offender...that was the biggest deal about his plea bargain

If this is the case, than he should be very, very happy to serve 2 years (absolute max) and move on. I don't think that's too harsh at all.

I don't feel sorry for the guy one bit. He seems like one of those people who is just a tool 100% of the time. He's been acting this way since he was 7 years old, and someone finally called him on it. With that being said, the only reason he is in trouble for this is because it ended up on youtube.

Ha! Don't know, we will probably be ready to stop wearing that shitty orange color.

But on topic, I think 30 days and 6 mos. of community service would have sufficed. He'll probably only have to do one year of his sentence, unless it was 2 years mandatory.

I think 2 years is over the top. 30 days in central lockup would have been plenty.

it wouldn't be a representation of bama if some of them weren't making excuses for his behavior. they have sorta a cop mentality except its the wide crimson line instead of the thin blue line. they protect and justify their own.

I don't see any Bama folks here justifying his behavior at all. I see that the vast majority sentiment here, across all fanbases, is that the 2 years is harsh. The minority opinion that it is about right, seems to come from a couple (not all)of LSU fans.

I don't have synpathy for that reject but your comment is off the mark.

If the guy was stone cold sober when he did it, I'd say two years may not be enough but he was drunk. That should play into the sentence somewhat. Temporary excessive stupidity.

if this is the case then should we not punish drunk drivers since they were drunk at the time?

What is the general consensous of this case?

New Orleans had to send a clear message in this case imho. I'm a native of Mobile, AL and i've spent a good amount of time in New Orleans especially back when the drinking age in LA was 18 i had a fake ID saying i was 18. New Orleans is a city i greatly admire because they will allow you to get as wasted as you want so long as you don't cross the line and violate anybody else's life, liberty, or happiness. The teabagger severely crossed that line.

I think he should have agreed to give the teabagee head at a Krystal of his choice. That would learn him.

2 years is a joke. Did he have any priors? I'm guessing there are violent crimes that get less.

30 days in the can would have been plenty.

I don't feel sorry for him because he's a grown man that knew he was being filmed while performing that vile act. However, I do feel sorry for his wife and child. I read in the Montgomery newspaper a couple of months ago, that his wife's family was supporting them. New Orleans Parish prison is known for the gang rapes that occur in there. Be it an hour, or two years, but that dude is probably going to get his arse opened by some big, burly, black dudes. Those black dudes will probably fight over who gets that white meat. The only place that is worse than OPP is Angola. This poor dude is going to get a lot worse than being teabagged. He definitely will leave that prison a changed man. He is also being sued by the guy that he teabagged. Good luck on being stupid.

He stands a real good chance of being in the family way by the time he gets out.
