That's the thing, if there had not been a viral video this would have come to nothing most likely. 'Everyone' knows.

2 years....Jesus what a waste of taxes....I know he won't serve 2 years but still. I agree it should of been handled in civil court. Did the "teabag-ee" press criminal charges? What the frick. Community service and shame seems like enough.

Personally I think he should have been fined about 10k and served a month and then probation. I feel bad for the guy being he has or had a wife and kids I believe. I understand what he did was beyond stupid, but the penalty was overkill.

forgive me, was it 2 yrs suspended with probation? or 2 yrs inj State pin? Depending on his prior Felony charges( if any) that's ridiculous! Prisons are already overcrowded. bullshite sentence if he's sent to Prison.

If sentenced to 2 then he'll probably do work release in some minimum level place with no fence and get out in 4-6 months depending on Lousiana's laws. Fla. for ex. makes you serve 85% of the time given. Alabama you usually serve 4 months on every year

If he was teabagging someone he knew it's no big deal. He needed to be punished in this case...I would say a big fine and community service in NOLA along with probation. For some reason I would only suggest jail time if his victim was a woman. Maybe I'm wrong.

I think 30 days in jail would have been sufficient. Had it been a female being teabagged, there would be no question that he should spend 5-10 years in prison.

Women and men are equal in the eyes of the law. Especially if they are unconscious.

I think 30 days would be good too, but that sets a precedent for a case involving a female.

Moral of the story:
Don't face rape an unconscious person with your testicles...

he also doesn't have to register as a sex offender...that was the biggest deal about his plea bargain

he will serve less than a year...lesson learned, time to move on

prob a little too harsh

Crazy sentence imo.....Here in the state the Judges were all called to Montgomery about 2 yrs ago and told not to send anyone down unless it was some type of trafficking, serious sexual, or hard core crime upon a person. Can't speak of La. but Ala. prisons are at 186% capactiy now and the Supreme Court heard arguments in Schwarzenegger v. Plata about whether the state of California had released 40k prisoners due to severe overcrowding which had led to inadequate medical and mental health care for prisoners LINK

Should have definitely been give Probation with C.S. and some type of alternative program

Love it. He should also be labeled as a sex offender.

I love that he is now a felon and can never vote or carry a gun.

The guy is an a-hole and deserves some kind of punishment, but that sentence seems harsh.

The charge seems misguided, too. A "sexual" assault? I mean, I know the statute reads "genital contact," but there was no sexual intent involved and common sense says it's nowhere near the same thing as what we'd customarily associated with a sexual assault. Personally, it makes the NOLA DA look like a douche who's trying to get back at Bama for the arse whipping.

Then there's the other side of me that says he gave the other trolls a new nickname to call us and thinks, eff him...

3 weeks ago my friend was visiting that very same Krystal at around 1am. He witnessed a man pull out his penis and start urinating in the middle of the floor of the restaurant.

There were nola police officers right outside the store on the street that were notified and SAW what was happening. The man was told he had to clean up the piss (while everyone laughed at him) and then had to go sit in teh drunk tank for the night.

What do I think about the teabagger? I think what he did was a stupid prank and gross, but 2 years punishment is ridiculous. Especially considering the context of what goes on inside and outside of that particular Krystal night-in and night-out.

He could have learned the same lesson by doing community service for 2 years and it would have actually benefited La. Instead La politicians/Judicial system got their underwear in a wad over the whole issue bc of the status surrounding the incident and wanted to "prove" something.
