Coleman is not terrible for a basketball venue. It sucks looking on the outside, but inside it's quite functional, plus it hold 15,000+ seats.
Most of those 15,000 seats are on the sidelines, whereas, many arenas, more than 50% are along the baseline or in the corner.

Alabama bball will be fine with the right coach. UA is spending obscene amounts of money on campus upgrades and a new arena will happen sooner or later, if for no other reason than everything else has already been done.

alabama never has and never will hire a big name basketball coach unless they bring in someone with previous baggage like auburn did with pearl

I didn't say they needed a big name coach, and they don't. Most fans will be happy just making the tournament with some frequency. That's not too much to ask for at a school with the resources Alabama has.

Grant was the hottest mid-major coach around when we hired him. Do I think the next hire will be as big of a splash, probably not.

if bama is so awesome, how come they have only have 1 sec chamionship since wimp and every single coach since him has been mediocre at best?
