How many Auburn fans have you seen defending Jay Jacobs? Don't be dense.

We won an SEC championship in football three years ago. Sure last year wasn't good, but you can't expect a green head coach to not have a few bumps in the road. I'm not ready to throw in the towel on football because of a 7-6 season.

This glorious season you speak of was fool's gold full of miracles. You still have the fool running the show. Auburn is like the movie Groundhog Day right now. Hope it stays that way.

Sorry. Not used to seeing free thinking on the plains. You belong in the column with Mr. Tee.

Anyone else? I want to be accurate.

I guess you misunderstood my question. How many Auburm fans have you seen defending Jay Jacobs?h
Most AU fans here have been very critical of he and Malzahn (at least the past year). There are the occasional sunshine pumpers, but they are few and far between.

I understand. I'm just used to JJ making a stupid hire like Chizik, Aubs call him out for it, but all is well when he hires Malzahn as OC.

Why did you guys need a massive Jumbotron? Was that a JJ deal?

My apologies, my man.

This is still going? JJ is a yes man. You can fire all the ADs you want but the good Ole boys network is still going to be there. They are like alot of the worst Auburn fan posters on here. They think they know best for Auburn athletics but have more money. They make calls to the AD and tell him what he better do and we see where we are.

We are never going to get rid of that without getting rid of the money too.

Trust me, there are lots of people like Mister Tee who would be just fine with a South Alabama level program as long as they get what they want.

My Lord! After reading that article about Tim Jackson - one has to wonder if Gus allows Jackson as much involvement with the team and players as Chizik did? And if not, then how has Tim adjusted to not being in the middle of everything football related?

Look at the date of the article. Tim Jackson has been relegated to an Office assistant since Chizik's dismissal .

We've just fired the baseball coach, the basketball coach and the football coach all in a 5 year time-frame.

In Knoxville, that would be considered stability.
