The Lakers will never learn. Not that he didn't deserve it but when they gave Kobe that max contract to close out his career when he was no longer the same player he once was, they set that organization back years. And if this is true that they'd draft Lebron's kid to keep him around, that would be an even dumber choice

If I'm another team, I'm drafting Bronny HIGH in the first round and holding him ransom. One, you can ask Lakers for every valuable asset they have in return for Bronbron and B) you destroy the Lakers and any chance of being any good for their foreseeable future in the process.

Not sure I'd spend a lottery pick to play chicken with possibly the second most powerful person in the NBA. The situation could just as likely blow up in your face as it is to get you a haul of future draft picks. LeBron has never been above being petulant and likely won't hesitate to send his legion of followers and lackeys after an owner that pisses him off.

Let me clarify. I did not mean a lottery pick. I should have said HIGH, like in the first round... because I think his true draft grade (taking the daddy factor out of it) is outside of the 2nd round. So anything late in the first round is extremely high in my opinion...
