My biggest gripe with the far left is their insistence that government will take care of them. History shows that that cannot happen.
Each of us, especially in a pluralistic society such as ours, must do our part in caring for ourselves. Government might be able to protect us from an armed invasion from another country but there's no way it can predict or protect groups from attack by other groups.
That's where we have to provide our own security. As it is, that means being able to shoot back at a crazy a-hole who wants to kill us.

Or he'll be constantly waving his dick in the face of every foreign country potentially setting of a major conflict for no other reason than his own bravado.

Milo Yiannopoulus is absolutely killing it on Twitter right now

He's a conservative journalist/blogger/Internet personality who is immune from liberal attacks because he's gay. He absolutely eviscerates the left, Islam and feminism and nobody can do shite about it. He's currently on a speech tour titled "The Dangerous F@ggot" tour.

I had to google him too, after seeing his name pop up several places lately and now here. I must say, after reading about him and his stance on a lot of things, I think dude is awesome.
In January 2016, Yiannopoulos co-founded the Yiannopoulos Privilege Grant with Margaret MacLennan, “a scholarship exclusively available to white men who wish to pursue their post-secondary education on equal footing with their female, queer and ethnic minority classmates.”
The fact that he's gay and denounces the SJW movements and how coddled LGBT are in this country is pretty admirable, and I'm not even against (moreso indifferent) the LGBT movement.

Last night, our nation was attacked by a radical Islamic terrorist. It was the worst terrorist attack on our soil since 9/11, and the second of its kind in 6 months. My deepest sympathy and support goes out to the victims, the wounded, and their families. In his remarks today, President Obama disgracefully refused to even say the words 'Radical Islam'. For that reason alone, he should step down. If Hillary Clinton, after this attack, still cannot say the two words 'Radical Islam' she should get out of this race for the Presidency.
If we do not get tough and smart real fast, we are not going to have a country anymore. Because our leaders are weak, I said this was going to happen – and it is only going to get worse. I am trying to save lives and prevent the next terrorist attack. We can't afford to be politically correct anymore.
The terrorist, Omar Mir Saddique Mateen, is the son of an immigrant from Afghanistan who openly published his support for the Afghanistani Taliban and even tried to run for President of Afghanistan. According to Pew, 99% of people in Afghanistan support oppressive Sharia Law. We admit more than 100,000 lifetime migrants from the Middle East each year. Since 9/11, hundreds of migrants and their children have been implicated in terrorism in the United States.
Hillary Clinton wants to dramatically increase admissions from the Middle East, bringing in many hundreds of thousands during a first term – and we will have no way to screen them, pay for them, or prevent the second generation from radicalizing. We need to protect all Americans, of all backgrounds and all beliefs, from Radical Islamic Terrorism - which has no place in an open and tolerant society. Radical Islam advocates hate for women, gays, Jews, Christians and all Americans.
I am going to be a President for all Americans, and I am going to protect and defend all Americans. We are going to make America safe again and great again for everyone.
- Donald J. Trump
Id say he's winning a LOT of votes right now, especially with this statement.

According to the murderer’s father, his son became angry after he saw two men kissing in the streets of Orlando. “This had nothing to do with religion,” said the father, Seddique Mateen. “He saw two men kissing each other in front of his wife and kid and he got very angry” — as if that was some kind of excuse. That same father is also on record defending the Taliban. He once hosted a political tv show and even ran for the Afghan presidency.
quote:
"We were in Downtown Miami, Bayside, people were playing music. And he saw two men kissing each other in front of his wife and kid and he got very angry," Mateen's father, Seddique Mir Mateen, told NBC News on Sunday. "They were kissing each other and touching each other and he said, 'Look at that. In front of my son they are doing that.' And then we were in the men's bathroom and men were kissing each other."
Orlando club shooter's father: "We apologize to everyone. We are saying we are apologizing for the whole incident," the elder Mateen said. "We weren't aware of any action he is taking. We are in shock like the whole country." He added: "This had nothing to do with religion."

So he's an Islamic Extremist AND a homophobe.
Islam and homophobia go hand in hand. ISIS is throwing homosexuals off the tallest buildings they can find.
If he's "just a homophobe" then explain why he would call 911 before the attack and pledge allegiance to ISIS?

Suggesting gays bring guns into a gay bar is the epitome of ignorance. Gary's go to gay bars as a sanctuary from the prejudice and comments they often receive in general public. It's one of the only places many of them can be themselves free from judgment
If guns were allowed at all bars.. I wonder how long it would take lawful carriers to kill and wound as many by accident or drunken rage as was done this morning by one person in a gun free area. And no sense counting those carrying illegally and shooting up ghetto strip joints like usually happen regardless of legal or not.

Exactly, daddy is trying to make excuses for his son's murdering/injuring of 100+ innocent people. His words ring hollow after learning about his past, and I'm sure he's simply trying to keep his family from being ostracized, or possibly murdered themselves. Otherwise something tells me he probably agrees with his son's "cause" deep down, himself peaceful or not. It's just what's engrained in them, what their society deems acceptable. How can we expect for them to move here and completely do a 180 on all their beliefs instantly? I'd bet dollars to donuts that junior gained a majority of his opinion on western culture from his father, or at least one would reasonably believe.

Of course though, if we don't allow every man women and child to purchase military grade weaponry from the local Walmart they'll just find Dave on the street corner and get them. Everybody knows a Dave.
Military grade long guns for public sale have been heavily regulated since 1934 and the last new one came into the US in 1986. Now, if you want to talk about civilian grade weapons made to look like a military weapon, well, let's talk about them. Spcifically, let's talk about how long guns of ALL kinds are used in less than 400 murders a year - about a quarter of the number of murders where hands and feet are the weapon used. Oh, and by the way the round that lookalike weapon fires is less powerful than every single deer rifle in the store. So, to wrap it up you are simply talking out your arse.
No let's move forward to some of your other assertions, particularly regarding a correlation between guns and murder. I like how you manage to completely ignore the fact that despite an explosion in gun sales an massive expansion in gun rights across the country, the murder rate has been decreasing for 30 years.
Finally, despite your suggestions to the contrary you really cannot compare the US to other nations. We are vastly more diverse and no matter how much we do not want to admit that diversity plays a role in violence, the stats scream a different story. As a white male, my chances of being murdered are a little more that 2 in 100,000 which sits square in the middle of murder rates for European nations. Worse than places like France or the UK but better than places like Finland. If I were a black male, my chances of being murdered increase to about 18 in 100,000, which sits squarely in line with the nations of Central America and Africa. Until we get the courage to seriously investigate the reasons (which would make both the left and right very uncomfortable), we won't make a serious change in the gap.
A better effort to identify and remove nuts form society or at least disarm them wouldn't be a bad thing, but the problem rally isn't the guns. The problem is that we as a nation are too scared of being labeled some politically incorrect term to actually look at any underlying issues.
