"Resort"? He made a statement about radical christians not killing people. This is blatantly false. Im not making a statement calling all Christians violent. Im simply pointing out that all radicals are violent.

Sad day, even sadder that some douchey types start to spin this before the bodies are at room temperature.

Not sure where you live or what the laws are but I've never heard of a "firearm license" and it sounds like a myth like people "registering" guns.

In states outside the south and rural western states, the legal requirement to register guns isn't a myth at all.

The ex-wife of the 29-year-man suspected of killing 50 people in a Orlando nightclub early Sunday said that he was violent and mentally unstable and beat her repeatedly while they were married.

The ex-wife said she met Omar Mateen online about eight years ago and decided to move to Florida and marry him.

At first, the marriage was normal, she said, but then he became abusive.

“He was not a stable person,” said the ex-wife who spoke on condition of anonymity because the feared for her safety in the wake of the mass shooting. “He beat me. He would just come home and start beating me up because the laundry wasn’t finished or something like that.”

He seemed like a normal human being,” she said, adding that he wasn’t very religious and worked out at the gym out often. She said in the few months they were married he gave no signs of having fallen under the sway of radical Islam. She said he owned a small-caliber handgun and worked as a guard at a nearby facility for juvenile delinquents.

“He was a very private person,” she said.

The ex-wife said her parents intervened when they learned Mateen had assaulted her. Her father confirmed the account and said that the marriage only lasted a few months.

Her parents flew down to Fort Pierce and pulled her out of the house, leaving all her belongings behind. The ex-wife she said never had contact with Mateen again despite attempts by him to reach her.

It looks like President Obama will issue his apology at 1:30pm to Muslims and chastise us lowly mongrels for believing out lying eyes and common sense.

RIP to The Slain.

Interesting.

Its possible she had no idea how radical he was, most family members have no idea what their radical siblings even believed or were capable of.

More proof that you really dont know people, even your family, the way you think you do.

Yeah. Apparently they're on SECR too. Someone downvoted my post that reported nothing but the unbiased fact that the FBI was already reporting the act as Islamic terrorism.

If he was on the terrorist watch list, why was he allowed to have a firearm license? That makes zero sense to me.

Because gun owners are so terrified that someone may take "muh guns" we currently have very little in the way of gun control laws.

Hell, just read this thread. The answer to less gun deaths is more guns of course...

Yet, all these incidents happen where firearms are NOT allowed. Your attempt to portray gun control as the solution is retarded.

What I find sad is those that use the dead bodies as a shield to block any useful discussion on the serious issues we face.

It's extremely tragic, but we'll forget about in a month. Let's hash this shite out now. The dead do not care, I promise.

No, what's retarded is the assertion that more guns=less gun violence

Our wide open gun culture has worked so well up to this point. Our gun murder rate is equivalent to African countries torn by civil war. I'm sure though, there is no correlation to the sheer amount of guns we have in this country or how easy it is for just about anyone to get anything they want.

But I get it, you need your AR 15 because if you didn't have it...well, I don't know, but got damnit you need it.

Sorry bud, but there are actually more states with laws PROHIBITING any type of gun registry than there are states with any sort of gun registration. And most of the 6 states mentioned only require registration of pre-ban assault rifles or 50 caliber rifles.

quote:

States that Prohibit Registries of Firearms:

Delaware
Florida
Georgia
Idaho
Pennsylvania
Rhode Island
South Dakota
Vermont

The very liberal states of Delaware, Vermont, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island kind of ruin your theory about only southern and rural states not requiring gun registration, huh? Especially with only two southern states on that list

Bars in Florida are "Guns free zones", how then, was anyone shot? The law says guns aren't allowed there, yet a gun killed 50 people, was it Magic?

In that same vein, how come you never hear about a mass shooting at a gun show? How is that possible, with all those evil guns around?

I should draw a poop swastika on your stupid face.
