FBI is already leading and calling the shooter an Islamic terrorist.

Given way they usually try to downplay that angle, he must have been pretty obvious about it. Only question now is homegrown or not.

Yeah that's surprising actually. They usually do everything they can to avoid saying "Islamic" in these situations.

Yes they do. I remember it was a day just about before San Bernadino was labeled as such.

It must have been so obvious that they knew survivors who were possibly going to talk to media were going to describe the perp as a terrorist.

That at least, seems like the logical thing.

That plus the guy's parents being from Afghanistan. Pretty hard to deny the connection.

The left and MSM will down play it and go the gun control angle. Hillary will be pumping it like crazy by the end of the day I'm sure. Despite:

The gunman, whose identity was not immediately released, “may have leanings” toward radical Islam, FBI Special Agent in Charge Ron Harper said when asked by Fox News whether the suspect had ties to Jihadist terror groups. Harper said the investigation is looking into possible threats made previously by the suspect in connection to radical Islam groups

“There are allegations the individual made threats in the past to having ties to terrorist organizations,”

eta- almost forgot.. it's early... OR, they'll blame the rhetoric from the Trump camp and his supporters as driving him to do it.

I don't like to turn this thing into anything political or religious, but there is something Americans need to understand.

This will continue to happen as long as radicalism is let in this country.

It's exactly what it is. It is political and it is religious. Islam is not 2nd grade playground disagreements where you shake hands and go on your way. It's followers are not peaceful and do not want to live in harmony with nonbelievers. It's religion is predicated on violence and it's aim is to achieve it's goals on violence.

Yea, I mean...my entire thought I really didn't want to get into was about Western Christians compared to Islam. It is night and day. While the LGBT community fights for certain rights and then cries foul when something doesn't go there way here, or at least over the last year or two. Islam is a completely different animal. They will kill you for that.

The only way to limit this type of thing is to limit the people that come in this country. The whole, letting refugees in this country thing, needs to be looked at more closely. While we do have a muslim population, most, if not all, normally intertwine with our western society very well. There may be something here and there that happens, but nothing like this.

Whether radical or not, middle eastern Islam beliefs do not mesh well with our western society here in America. Period. You're asking for trouble, such as last night.

No one is safe from radicalized Muslims. Why no one in that nightclub was armed and fought back is beyond me.

That's the only way I see us winning this war with terrorists, both domestic and foreign. We can learn a lot from the Israelis.

Jews and Americans are the first targets for Islamic terrorists. Israelis know this and are armed to the teeth, expecting their attacks anywhere.

Just recently, two Islamic terrorists struck a crowded restaurant in Tel Aviv. Four people were killed before the terrorists were cut down. In the U.S. that would have been 40.
