Or maybe its that all of OP's ideas have been ugly as frick.
Also, a lot of people like the clean, sleek look. That doesn't make someone a fogie, it just means that they don't think that a cluttered uniform with a bunch of randomly placed symbols, pictures, and stripes is good-looking.
Furthermore, there is no proof that recruits pick their schools based on uniform. Actually, quite the contrary.
I will say that I do support OP's idea of a new, more interesting mid-field logo.

I don't think we should change anything permanently, but I wouldn't be against the team playing in grey jerseys every now and then.
