You are forgetting a big one, burnout. You could easily be over it by that point in your life.
Is the burnout because he’s done with basketball or because basketball is done with him? If he was a consensus 1st round pick I doubt he’d be walking away. ...
Rich Rod or Brady Hoke at Michigan. Both were considered pretty good options when they were hired. ...
The ACC is slaw this year...no really good teams at all...Cristobal coaching will cost Miami at least 2 losses
Hopefully this will help the playoff committee rethink giving the top 4 seeds to conference champs. I don’t see the Big 12 champ being that much better. ...
Does the "2024 Schedule" banner in that graphic piss anyone else off? The font, coloring, and positioning of letters is all just off, compared to the rest of the image
It’s meant to mimic the font of the old logo which you can see in the background [img]https://encrypted-tbn1....
The crazy part of that is they are used to losing to teams they shouldn’t already. Last year was the first year they’ve overachieved. ...

Overseas they work on fundamentals Monday through Friday, and then have games on the weekends. Here they only plays games, and as you said it's basically all ISO ball. Hardly any plays are run, ever, in AAU. I think the idea of the rest of the world catching up to America in basketball i...
Hes not wrong. While I would like more depth, Why waste time/energy/money on players 10-13?
He’s absolutely wrong. Starters transfer out at almost the same regularity as reserves. There’s no such thing as developmental guys anymore. Even players like Davin Cosby ain’t stickin...
The ones you mentioned plus I’d add Beamer. If they trend downward his seat will heat up tremendously. Napier probably has to be competing for a NY6 Bowl to appease the swamp…which with the new playoff format I’m not sure what bowl outside the playoff helps. ...
Condescension and bad takes gift wrapped in humor ain’t a good look. No one here needs any kind of defending as this is supposed to be a forum full of adults, but I will say I’ve always enjoyed reading your posts and missed seeing your thoughts while you were on sabbatical. FYI, Spending tim...
Can’t believe this is the team did it either. Last year’s team and the ‘21 team were better, but this is the bunch that got over the hump. I’d say it was uncertainty with JQ maybe coming back and the obvious stress that would come with being involved with that incident. He may not be ideal in Oats system but he was tough and his shot was good enough. ...
also think fans value a new arena more than Nate does. As long as amenities for players and NIL remain competitive, I think he’s happy
Don’t these somewhat go hand in hand? This team is just not good defensively. They don’t use leverage very well, they don’t slide to stay in front very well, they get picked way too easily - whether on the ball or chasing off the ball, they don’t read and react quick enough to get steals, they turn and watch the guy driving the ball cau...
