I was only 10 years old but I don't remember seeing Norm at the Italian Village/Gaebler's Black and Gold. He may have been at the Shack.

The zone read play is an option so Franklin doesn't know in advance if he is handing off or running. On the speed option, he doesn't know either. It all depends on the reaction of the defense for both plays.

I like Franklin running the ball 10-12 times a game. After all, he is 6'2" and 230 lbs - our biggest back.

I should have checked in here before I made a comment yesterday.

I'm a Columbia MO native and Mizzou grad. Also retired from the USAF and Mizzou. I attended the 1960 kU game, the 5th Down Game, and the Flea Kicker. Therefore I shall not bring my bad luck to the ATM game saturday. I'll watch at home in Southern Boone County.

I don't plan to post a lot but will contribute from time to time.
