Stop. Ranked nearly as high as MIT? Maybe in certain programs but nowhere even close overall. Hope that meth tastes good.

re: Would you rather your school be ranked #1 in football or academics?

I attended an 'elite' private university for undergrad and am doing my Master's at TAMU. Trust me, I am more than realistic about the fact that TAMU would never be the best academic school in the country. My post was a response to the comments that have revealed in my opinion a fundamental cultural problem in the South. Just as a heads up, the question posed was would you rather your school be ranked #1 in football or academics not what would be more realistic. To first say to re-examine that question then immediately flip it into an attack on Texas A&M comes off as a touch asinine.

All of those who are serious when answering football are case in point why academics in the south (including Texas) are a joke. To say all state schools are practically the same (especially when comparing Ole Miss to OSU) is absurd. While universities can undoubtedly offer more value than just what their US News & World Report ranking claims they do and in some cases offer much better educational opportunities than higher-ranked schools, to discredit the rankings because they don't cast your alma mater in a positive light when compared to universities across the country is just a head in the sand approach to higher education that is sadly way too similar to the culture of handing out participation awards to everyone in youth sports.

Texas A&M.
Played a college sport at a different school and will be receiving my MS from A&M in 2017.

re: Name a better 5 loss team than Arkansas

Dude. We've beaten you every single year that we've been in the same conference. This is some Arkadelphia level of stupid you're trying to pass off as trash-talking and it's pretty pathetic.
re: SEC Power Rankings

I'm a little bit confused how you can be ranked higher than us when we have the same exact record and we've beaten you head-to-head. Not that I think that we should deserve to be anywhere above 5th at the best, but it seems a little asinine to have two teams (Arkansas & Clanga) ranked higher than us when we a) have the same or a better record and b) have the H2H on both for the year.
re: Analysis: How Do You Stop the LSU Running Game?
Posted by Roc Nation on 9/21/15 at 12:29 am
I think the biggest factor is having an elite front 7 with high quality depth in the front four. I don't know if any SEC team really has that combination this year, so the question becomes how do you slow it down to the point that it's manageable? I think teams have to come out and start hot offensively (similar to what 2012 Aggy would do) to try to force LSU to play out of its philosophy in order to catch up. It's going to be very interesting and telling to see how Florida schemes for it come October 17.
re: When did Tamu last receive a #1 vote

2014 AP Poll - Week 5
Before that, 2013 Coaches Poll - Week 3
Hope this helps you with your question. Congrats on the first place votes this week, y'all impressed me alot this weekend. Definitely a fearsome ground game.

Well, it would be one of our yell leaders wearing a Texas State Flag Thong, and he would look fabulous.

Giving a vote for my University of Rochester. It definitely is not the best and as iconic as the likes of some other ones on this list, but it is absolutely gorgeous in Spring and Fall.

re: Is A&M The #1 Football Program In Texas?

It's amazing how many people get caught with their foot in their mouth about A&M and then pass it off as trolling. Absolutely love this place.

Look at this tough guy. Bonfire jokes. You are honestly the coolest guy on here. I wish I could say you're better than that but honestly I don't know if that would be true.
That cake is hideous too.

There are some things that are ok to troll, poke fun at, and rustle some jimmies over, and there are things that are off-limits and you should realize should be treated in a respectful way. If you can't determine that line of discretion Bates, you really need to do some soul-searching and gain a better perspective on the world. It's not honestly worth the time of anyone to cuss you out and tell you how much of an idiot you are for what you said, it's just truly sad that you need to get your kicks and giggles at the cost of 12 lives.

Just kidding, we suck. The Acie Law years were pretty chill though.

Why are the pig posters so absolutely pathetic and beyond awful whenever their team is power bottom in the SECW?

For the betterment of society and this hallowed board, please post less, sterilize yourself, and start drinking a significant amount of Draino.
TIA.

IMO we'll be as bad as LSU's 2012 offense. Johnny's looked a lot like Kiehl Frazier in practice and McKinney is trying to implement the flexbone. We'll Be lucky to beat everyone but Arkansas.
