Good to see him addressing issues instead of hiding from them. I'm getting excited about the defense in spite of myself. Just got a good feeling.

I feel like we could definitely be better up front this season. We upgraded our line coaching with Wilson. Look at his stats at OU and Mstate. He's a great coach and he will have an upgrade in talent to work with. I like his philosophy on rotating guys up front. That's what wears down the oline. The question is how many if any no huddle type offenses do we face this year?

Ray Drew, John Taylor, Chris Mayes, Mike Thorton, Garrison Smith, and John Atkins make me sleep better at night. Great talent!

Aren't they injury prone?? It seems like I remember at least Sterling has been injured since he got to campus.

Much like most of our recruits. UGA is where the injured come for second chances.

Maybe they just got the injuries out of the way and now its time for big dawg ball! Lots of youngsters with something to prove instead of a field full of guys looking forward to the draft.

It all about coaching them up at this point. Atleast Grantham has made it clear that you have to win a spot on the depth chart, which hopefully translates to the best players are in the starting line up. I think if JHC can bulk up this year he will be an intersting OLB canidate.

Great interview from CTG. (Low gave us a little deja vu with the turnover stat. )

Thought he had solid responses and has the right focus going into the spring. Hoping the youngsters will push hard for playing time. A rising tide brings up all boats. Get everyone feeling like they have to work hard to earn their spot out there, rather than it being something that they deserve.

JHC at OLB makes the most sense.

I think he was also implying that JJ 2.0 and Herrera will be middle.

The Spider Monkey is coming.

To be fair, the only games we were gashed were against-

#1 NFL Draft RB (at the time) Lattimore

#2 NFL Draft RB (currently #1 cuz of Latti's injury) Lacy (with 3 NFL 1st round offensive linemen, and a 2nd round lineman)

#3 NFL Draft RB (maybe 1st round) Nebraska guy. Motel 6 not in the game.

As CTG points out in the article, our defense allowed 3.something yards per carry in conference play, lower than the conference average. With a 3 man front hellbent on sacking quarterbacks, part of the tradeoff is that you make yourself vulnerable to the run.

I've got a better feeling about Grantham going into 2013, I can't put my finger on it just yet.
