Like the original poster, I'm all Bama. I watched your team all year, and felt like LSU and Bama were far and away the best teams in the U.S. Had Alabama been number one going into the bowls, no WAY would I have wanted to play you guys again. Bring on Okie State, Stanford, whoever...just not LSU again! Too good a team....

I have no clue what happened on Monday, although I suspect that it had to do with your offense never getting inspired by a big defensive or special teams play. I was holding my breath the whole game, just waiting for one of those momentum-changing plays to occur and then the floodgates opening.

I genuinely think that y'all had a super team and that next year's may be even better. If the game had been closer, I really wouldn't have had an issue with a split championship, just because your team was so dominant against a tough schedule and beat everyone on it, including us.

I expect another war in Baton Rouge later this year; kinda wish we weren't in the same division these days!
Not sure how fond LSU fans would be of, say, Kirkpatrick, if he did EXACTLY the same thing to Mathieu that Mathieu did to him. Bush league play that ended up causing an injury. Mathieu is good, but not deserving.
Yeah, Saban has lost his touch. Number One nationally in rushing D, pass D, pass efficiency D, total defense and rushing defense. Saban probably oughta just hang it up.
Funny stuff here. Lose to a four-loss team in late November and you're worthy to play for a national championship, but only lose in OT to the number one team by a field goal and you're NOT worthy?
You're right...and it would be number 14. I think LSU would (correctly) claim a championship, too.
Gotta go with Tigers-45, Hogs-14. I'm a Bama fan, saw what we did to 'em, and I think LSU will be determined to one-up us. The Tigers have the ability to do it.
