I doubt Les is going anywhere and I don't know who we should hire as OC.
Les is a good program manager, but a terrible game coach, so I sure would love somebody who understands how to structure and pace a game. And knows when to call a damn time-out.
I would think one of the older OCs out there would probably fit that bill, someone analagous to what we have in Chavis. Any ideas?

Mississippi St, then Tenn Chatanooga, then Auburn then Florida, then whoever you play in the Sugar Bowl.
I doubt Dick Burleson will be in the booth for those games.

Arrakis,
The conference gets paid so much for these games because there are so many fans, 10 of out every 12 of whom probably think something is wrong.
When we watch the ads, that translates into a lot of revenue for the advertising companies.
Now, if I alone don't watch the ads and boycott any advertisers that I know of, that might equal a few hundred dollars.
But, there are 47202 members of this board alone. If, for example, all of these did this, then that would be more like 9 million(47202 x 200). That starts to get into the ear of the people who pay the bills.
So if money is driving the problem, taking some away is how your force Slive to acknowledge it and act to correct it.
Otherwise we get "no comment."

The officiating is gross. I'm tired of having my Saturday's ruined by it and I'm tired having people talk about it constantly. What we should all be saying right now is: I can't wait to see Peterson and Julio Jones go at it again next year. But we can't because the conference refs didn't let a great game have a great finish...again.
It seems to me that if the there is a subconscious favoritism lurking in the SEC officials, then it won't go away until Slive and Redding admit it and correct it. "No comment" just is going to cut it.
But what power to simple fans have over the Commish? I can really only think of one effective one and that is to hit him where he made career. He inked the 3 billion dollar deal with CBS and ESPN. I can boycott it. I can refuse to watch any commercial during those games or I can refuse to buy any products that are endorsed during those games.
I guess I'll be watching games a few minutes delayed on my DVR the rest of this season so I can skip the ads.
