re: Do we still think Odom is a genius?

He's doing the best he can with what he has. Don't get me wrong, we've got some awesome guys on the defensive side of the ball. Catalon, Foucha, Pool, Morgan, etc. But we have very little depth otherwise. We've got former 2* and 3* recruits, walk-ons, etc. This is a team that has been curbstomped every game for the last three seasons. A team full of players who had no idea how to win. The fact that we're even sniffing .500 this year is a tribute to coaching. The scheme we play gives us the best chance to win with the players we have, but like other commenters have said, we can get exposed by great passers and by teams with good O-lines. Sure, it hurts to get blown out by Florida or TAMU or anyone, but the fact that this year was always going to be a work in progress and the fact that we are so far ahead of everyone's expectations means we Hog fans are okay with occasionally getting beat by a clearly superior team.

In short, bad attempt at trolling is bad.
Since the start of the 2016 season, the Hogs are 3-2 in SEC play in the state of Mississippi (wins @ MSU in '16 and '20, @ Ole Miss in '17) and 2-27 literally everywhere else in SEC play (home wins vs. Ole Miss and Florida in 2016).

Crazy stat.

You're right, assuming Ark beats LSU. If Ark and Bama win out then you'd be in the conversation. If LSU wins out then you don't have a shot, even if you beat Auburn.
Right now, as it stands, LSU has a better profile and body of work than we do...the difference being the Alabama game (LSU beat Bama, we lost to Bama). However, if Arkansas wins out, beating LSU on national TV on the last weekend of the season, then we would have identical records and own a head-to-head win, which would give us the nod in the polls. The kicker is Bama. If they beat Auburn, then even if Arkansas beats LSU we're still not going to the Sugar because Bama will go (assuming Auburn beats USCe). That's just my opinion on the matter though.

Not sure if the Hogs are playing like they deserve the #11 ranking right now...honestly they're playing like they're still hung over from the Bama loss 2 weeks ago. C'mon Hogs get it together!!!!!!
I'm not all that familiar with all of A&M's traditions, but I get the vibe that you're pretty protective of them. Kind of an exclusive "once an Ag, always an Ag" combined with "if you're not with us then we don't need you" mentality. Not in a bad way or anything...you're just very close-knit.

My question is this: What happens the first time you go to Neyland Stadium and the Pride of the Southland plays the Aggie War Hymn? Just curious to see what kind of reaction that would get from you Aggie faithful.

Oh, and can we not just welcome our new brethren into the SEC? Do we really have to worry about whether aTm is more Arkansas' bitch or LSU's bitch? It's not going to matter when we both make aTm our bitch.

This is pure gold. Even the parts about sticking it in LSU's pooper.
That's very unfortunate for him, and for LSU. We just lost our senior leader Michael Smith for the season, so I know how you feel. It sure seems like K. Williams has been there at LSU forever, he sure had a good career. Hate to see a senior leader's season end with an injury.
