I think he should show him some Ricky Blanton on the way to the Final 4 in 1986. He shut down some strong inside players on some strong teams - including Memphis and Kentucky.
I knew Joe had it when he arrived on campus for Fall practice only before the start of the season and won the job. Now to say that this season he exceeded my wildest expectations is still an understatement. No one gave him credit in 2018 for how quickly he adjusted to LSU and the team accepted him. I am so glad for Joe and thrilled he could become only the second Heisman trophy winner in LSU history!!! Geaux Jeaux!!!
You then are a very sad person to exalt in a college kids injury, no matter who the opponent.

but Miles has lost quite a bit of luster in my eyes over the past two seasons.

Damn those 11-2 and 13-1 seasons the last two years are just horrible to deal with!

Bama embarrassing lsu in the Natty is way more impressive than a fluke 3 point win.

I agree that the BCS NC game was much more convincing...but you are an arse if you call any win on the road a "fluke" in the SEC, particularly at BAMA this year. How did you feel in BR this year after all the Hogs talking so much smack?

By the way hogbreath...how did your double beat down by both BAMA and LSU feel:)
Guilty by Omission, wow just wow:) So he is supposed to throw the players and coaches of the offense under the bus in order to not blame the defense? Brilliant!
Please just rename yourself:

How am I wrong? Do you consider Les Miles a bright man?

You are an arse...Miles was bright enough to be accepted to and graduate from U of Michigan which is not a piece of cake...

He was bright enough to out coach many other NC winning coaches...and navigate a team without a "strong" QB through one of the most challenging seasons (based on competition) any college football team has faced in the modern era without a regular season loss!

He was bright enough to step into a situation at LSU where he KNEW he was going to be constantly criticized by a fan base that loved them some Nick so bad!

He was bright enough to hold a team together in the midst of one of the most devastating natural disasters to ever affect a team (Katrina and Rita)and helped exceed the previous coach's last year at LSU

And there is nothing serendipitous about the extreme hard work, long hours and sacrifices he made to get where he is today...

and he has made winning so believable at LSU that the fan base has put on blinders, forgot the past and have turned into dribbling idiots posting on here.

You are full of S**t! If you do not go 13-0 you do not even get to the "only game that matters". Sorry Les's record is 1-1 in the "only game that matters".

I hope that Les is announcing that he is leaving to coach somewhere else and all the rantards can jump up and down and then proceed to the Stooge circus of the Curly Hallman days! As any coach worth his salt would say WTF 13 - 1 BCS NC game and this is how they react. Pulleeeas!

You rantards don't deserve a winner!

Why stay after the way Les mishandled players and the offense all year?

Yeah and we heard all the complaining about it each week we were blowing out teams.

I am getting so tired of the S*** you keep posting...Did you even watch any games this year. There were 3, count them 3 games, where the Tigers offense did not crank a lot of points (and they won 2 of those)- points (without huge yardage needed) due to shortened field because of exemplary special teams play. We outscored, by a large number of points, the so-called High octane offenses of Oregon, West Virginia and Arkansas.

I started to respond to you in another thread yesterday as I saw you have only been posting on here since the Ship game, bu. Get a life and/or go back and see how successful this team in ALL three phases have been with a few hiccups along the way.

BAMA just played outstanding (See Florida Florida State rematch) Give them there due. Even Bobby Bowden said LSU had little chance of winning this game.

LSU 8 - 0 280 (PF) 67 (PA); 13 - 1 500 (PF) - 158 (PA).

500 points - even with, I think 8 tds by Special teams and defense, led the SEC in points. It is a TEAM game three parts - Offense, Defense and Special Teams.

SEC West Division Champs, SEC Champs Time to move on. Enough said... as it is written so it shall be!
AS far as I am concerned he lost it in regulation by running three straight times with a little less than two minutes left near the middle of the field.

Gave the ball back to MSU, when a first down would have sealed it.

Playing not to lose is just not the way the game is supposed to be played. You would think that a person with the background he had from the heydays at FSU would have learned that lesson.

But that was intentional and shouldn't be defended. Not even by homers.

As spoken by a homer!
I like "Looks like LSU vs Bama, the Sequel. I am still holding out for LSU vs LSU!
Is there anything going on in the game? All this talk about everything but the game. This is my only way to keep up. I am in the Ukraine and the Gamecast for the SEC championship game sucks terribly.

Please periodically say what is happening in the game Tigers!

Thanks!

First off, moron. Ok St has to beat Ok (which isn't gonna happen). And even if they do, it may be enough to sway voters to send Ok St and Bama and keep LSU out. Now THAT would be funny.

Could you get the heck out of here! There is a game to play without reading all this crap about Bama and the NC.
Just curious then how so many kids from Georgia get into Auburn who were not accepted at UGA?
You should have paid very close attention to the saying that "It is better to be thought a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt".

You have no frikkin' idea what you are talking about.

Richardson and Mathieu both leave it all out on the field. Mathieu had to grow up a bit, but you show that you are even more immature by making this post!

We have to beat:

Razorbacks
Bulldogs
and then maybe the Tide a second time.

Nothing guaranteed and thank God this team doesn't appear to look ahead like fans.
