Just talked to one of the players and they moved it from 9am to 1pm.
No OM team meeting yet.

Just talked to one of the players and they haven't been informed of any meeting so looks like it’ll just be more waiting.

Yes that kid. He is still part of the team and has friends that were at he meeting.
The point to let you know he and other players are gone goose hunting is to let you know the whole team isn’t in Oxford so there isn’t a any full team meeting that Kiffin could even have if he wanted to.

Not sure what Pete is assuming or meant. Maybe he was talking about he was talking about remaining the DC no matter who they hired to replace Kiffin. I didn’t want to bug the kid and ask details, I just ask him every couple of days if he’s heard anything or not.

Like I said in another post. I talked to a OM player that said Pete Goiding met with the defense because of all of the transfer portal talk and told them he would be there no matter what Lane’s decision was. This player wasn’t there because he was with other players headed to Stuttgart to goose hunt.

I talk to one of the OM players, he said that the Pete Golding called a defensive meeting and told them he will be at Ole Miss next year regardless of Lane’s decision. He heard all the players talking about the portal.
The player I talked to wasn’t there but was headed to Stuttgart with other players to goose hunt.

He might have talked to them to but this kid has only talked to the special teams coach because that’s his position coach. It can mean nothing but it is what the kid said.

He said Kiffin told the special teams coach that he was leaving, was taking him and others with him and to figure out what players they wanted to take with them because both teams had senior special teams players. Talking about kickers and snappers

No. During the latest news conference they stated the interim AD would do the hiring. I would think you hire the AD first and then the coach. It opens up the door for the AD being able to say that’s not his guy. You see it in professional sports all the time Gzm didn’t hire the coach.

Cedrick Harris. Anyone that knows him knows that he is a no nonsense, do it the right way type of person on and off the field and has been coaching and mentoring future college players for years now.

From what my source said. LSU is his dream school and he was waiting on a offer from them but his head coach might have been hindering that communication a little for whatever reason. With a little work the connection was made and an offer was presented.

I posted yesterday that Derrian Ford would be offered by LSU. He has officially been offered today. Now just waiting for his commitment.
