Too light for my taste. The darker the roux the greater the flavor imo.

TR's only big plays (with the exception of 1 or 2 pretty strong runs) were on blown coverages and dump-off passes. Other than that, LSU's D shut him the frick down. That's saying a lot, given he's probably the best back to play CFB in the last 10+ years (IMO).

this should be moved to the expansion board as we ponder why Ole Miss is still in the SEC :rotflmao:
BY FAR the best sports talk show in BR with Jordy being second. Sports talk in BR is a freakning joke.
Wow, something positive about a former tiger (for a change) and you can hear crickets chirping in this thread...

Props to Tyrus!!!!

i take it you didnt vote for him...take this crap to the political board
I wouldnt mind picking him up but his skillset doesnt translate well to the Saints offense. He needs to sit a season or two behind a seasoned, successful veteran. Redskins come to mind.
Please READ THE ENTIRE ARTICLE!!!!

He was off base but I believe he was trying to explain the spin doctoring going on Monday morning after the SB. Just think about it...everyone was to blame except Manning (offensive line, Reggie Wayne)

Had to come out of lukerdom to comment...

Chad Jones will turn heads at the combine. His stock will move up tremendously after the combine. How many 6'4" players have returned punts for TD's? I think his future is SS in the NFL. He will be to much of a project at WLB. Mike Detillier said on Jordy's show a few days ago that he is the perfect type of player for a Greg Williams coached defense because of his ability to play multiple postions and to not be suprised if the Saints draft him if he is available at the end of the 1st round. If the Saints pick him he will prob be a "nickel safety" type player playing either saftey position in our nickel packages. Most teams use linebackers for that.

We've had some serious talent come through here over the years. It's a shame we dont have any national championships to show for it. LSU +3 against UCLA in the final.
