Wildstar > WoW

I second this. Wildstar is very dry until you hit ~14 and make it to the capitol city. Then the whole game opens up in a big way. Adventures, dungeons, raids, battlegrounds, even crafting are extremely well done in WildStar.

One of the most important things is to get the right set of add ons installed up front or you may have a less than optimal experience...

re: Anyone playing WildStar?

Just saw this thread and thought I would chime in.

To the poster above, yes, 20 is when you can access Dungeons, but they're not like the dungeons we're used to. Those are more what Wildstar calls Adventures. Dungeons in this game are basically mini-raids. They're tough.

Also, fwiw, i didn't really like this game until I hit level 15, got to the capital, and played around with the housing. The whole game seems to "open" up after 15, so I would absolutely recommend that people stick with this game at least through 20.

If anyone is in it, I'm on Caretaker realm, Dominion side, name is FreakZillah.

or to beat Hopkins

Hometown rivalry, and they pretty handily beat Hop in the regular season. Now, I had Hop circled on my bracket as beating MD, but I also had "....?" next to that.

You bring up very valid points. I'm just not so sure Duke can get it done this year. They haven't "convinced" me.

As another plug, here's the link to BR Lax Club's fb page LINK
Duke vs Notre Dame rematch. Here's why:

Loyola is good. Damn good actually. But they're not ready to play on this big of a stage. Notre Dame does it year in and out, and Coach Corrigan and Byrne's Defense is simply better than Loyola's offense. I got ND by 2.

Maryland beat Duke at the beginning of the season, but then lost to them in the ACC championship. They also lost to UVA and UNC. Maryland was honestly my "bottom of the ACC" this year, and I think Danowski has their number.

Championship game? Man, I have no idea. I want to say this is Notre Dames year. Their defense is so stout, but I said that in 2010, and CJ Constabile got that OT goal..

As an aside, always have obsessed about lacrosse, always will. Baton Rouge has a team for old(er) folks, and we have people who have never played before, too, so if anyone ever wants to give it a shot, check out BatonRougeLacrosseClub.com

We have a couple players who have never played before already coming out to practice. You can also buy sticks and balls at Dick's Sporting Goods. Come give it a shot!

That's awesome dude. I am going to start playing with the Shreveport guys once i get moved into Shreveport and out of East Texas. I miss it.

The Shreveport team is a big deal. I bet they could really compete. Baton Rouge is a lot harder because theres really no teams with a history in the area. Catholic, Dutchtown, and Central HSs are the only ones around here, and they've only recently just gotten started.

The Baton Rouge Men's Lacrosse Club has been formed and is up and running. We have already played our first game, and have another scheduled at the end of April.

All players age 18+ can join us, regardless of whether they have played before or not.

Please see our website for more details and reach out to us LINK

Is LSU lacrosse apart of the NCAA or is it still club level at this point?

It is club level, but you would be surprised how seriously it's taken.
This will be the first year that the AllState Sugar Bowl will sponsor a college lacrosse classic.

LSU vs Ole Miss, followed by nationally ranked Arizona State and Texas, this Saturday at Pan Am Stadium in New Orleans.

Hope to see you there! LINK

Did anyone watch the Jacksonville game? Are they that good or is Navy struggling that hard after losing Coach Meade?

Johnny Hopkins vs Delaware on ESPNU tomorrow. Now THAT is a real game to watch.

yeah im gonna need to see some explination on this one

I guess I could be wrong, but add women's lacrosse, and you now can increase your budget for football in compliance with Title IX?
Survey going on today: LINK

To all students who want LSU's athletic program to grow (Rugby, Lacrosse), PLEASE GET OUT THERE FOR THIS. PELASE SPREAD THE WORD!!!

FURTHER DISCUSSION HERE LINK

In my opinion, it is actually pretty likely that women's lacrosse can be added sooner than you think. Florida and Vandy are already competing at the varsity level. Florida has had a program for three years, and has been a top 10 team for the last two, proving the SEC can compete right away.

Adding women's lacrosse (without men's) actually makes sense, because there are plenty of other D1 schools in the region with it (Furman, Jacksonville, Mercer, High Point, UNC, Duke, Florida, vandy to name a few), a real NCAA championship.

I think the most likely sports to be added are Women's lacrosse and Men's soccer at this time.

EDIT: well maybe not "pretty likely", but it makes sense to me
