Get there early and bring an ice chest with wheels that you wouldn’t mind losing. If you have offers to stop at tailgates prearranged from this post - show up. If not, introduce yourselves at any passing tailgate that has a large pot and you’ll be fed. The fact you have your own ice chest makes this even easier.

Get the list of events that’s posted by LSU ahead of the game and witness the team and band march down Victory Hill and/or go see them perform at the PMAC. If you don’t have a formal tailgate destination, you can eat and drink in front of the PMAC with various vendors and bar setups.

Prior to going in the game, leave your ice chest at one of the visited tailgates or hide your ice chest somewhere near where the cops park on the east side of the stadium and it’ll still likely be there after the game.

Have fun and Geaux Tigers.

Finally, we are home to the biggest network company in America, AT&T and Exxon Mobil

ExxonMobil moved it’s headquarters to Spring, TX and has a dwindling presence in DFW

For me, it’s a giant, faceless monster with little that I find interesting. I was right when I was a kid. Thought it was bland then, think it’s bland now.

I lived there for two years and agree - bland is a good descriptor.

I think we may both be married to the same woman
We have the Kwikset Halo deadbolt and it works great. App is easy to use and easy to create temp and permanent codes. About 3-4 months in between battery changes.
Dean Moss is the surprise based on some of the talking heads saying they thought we had a good shot of getting him to campus.
I played against Al Jones (Rahim Alem) when he was at St. Aug. He was a grown men amongst boys. I learned early on I had to block him low because he pancaked me on the first attempt.
Brought my boy this year; we had an incredible time and made memories that I’ll cherish for the rest of my life.
There were a few guys outside last Saturday right in front of the entrance to the baseball village - they were hustling though so not sure you’ll save any money going this route.
Already hedged on two tickets to Game 4 (Saturday 6PM game). Really hoping our assumptions hold true.

This has always been one of my favorite YT videos…
We were there behind enemy lines in a pure Texas season ticket holder section - most of them were cool but one guy was a real arse and rubbed us wrong all game. That play was the culmination of all of the shite talking and anxiety; we were lucky to make it out without anyone throwing hands. What a moment and what a game.
Jay’s speech this year was more high level and reflective of his love for this job and the LSU and Louisiana community. He spoke to the 12 guys from last year’s roster were the guys he wanted on the bus, and was pretty blunt that they strategically let guys off the bus (that were in it for themselves and not the team). Broke down that it’s those 12, the incoming freshman, and the transfer guys as being the 3 buckets of players he has to coach up. He plainly said we’re going to like the brand of baseball this team plays. Talked up the Juniors as they had a panel with Bear Jones, Chase Shores, Gavin Guidry, and Pearson. Great event. Jay is an incredible speaker.

Wonder what this could do to Nucor Steel down in Convent

I imagine it will do little to impact them as Hyundai is making its own products. Nucor is spending $ now on expansions for emissions capturing

Just got this email from LSU.

I’m a lazy arse, admittedly. The first email caught my attention…

Season ticket holder here that spends a lot of our hard earned money in TAF fees, travel for games, memorabilia and apparel, tailgating - you get it. I often see people bitching about “us” being the ones to have to carry the burden and I understand - even agreed at first. It’s a shite economy, there’s shite everywhere that sucks. What college football has become sucks. But the proudest legacy I was given to me by my parents is a love for LSU Football.

It took me out of my bubble on Saturdays and introduced me to Louisiana culture. I remember the days when winning wasn’t expected many Saturdays a season. We’d eat, have pickup football games with adjoining tailgate kids, and enjoy the vibes. That palpable feeling that I still get every time I step on campus on game day aa I expose my kids to it.

Those expectations have shifted in our glory years, and the NIL landscape is fluid. Sorry for the sappiness but all this to say - if you feel the same way about it, there’s nobody better served to give than “us”. This second match made me take action.

I can’t offer much - but my love for LSU Football and the hope of maintaining the standard I’ve been blessed to watch develop brings me a hell of a lot more joy than an overpriced lunch during the workweek, a coffee or smoothie stop, etc. I’ll gladly give some of those up every now and then for some of the best days of the calendar year: LSU Game days.

I used to travel to Montana and the Dakotas for work and they were very popular locally, years ago. I would bring back bags at a time each trip and after binging my stash I was thankful they didn’t have national distribution. Once I saw them in a grocery store here, all bets have been off.

OK, thanks. It's not one of those soul-crushing set ups where the rental pavilion seems like it's in another county?

I typically fly in/out of terminal C twice a month or so - I typically roll out to the shuttle and it’s leaving in 2-3 minutes. Maybe a 5 minute drive then take the escalators down, head to your car, and roll out. I’d say with Avis it averages me about 15-20 minutes or so from the time I walk out to the shuttle.
