Time Trap on Netflix. I'm not going stay it's incredible but it's definitely under the radar and has some good stuff for sci-fi junkies.

Season 3 was the best for me, season 4 was still really good but not quite as strong. The book s4 was based on is supposed to be the weakest of the series, while he next book is supposed to have something really crazy or important that happens and is supposed to be great.

There was news today about the pilot with the southern accent being accused of sexual harassment or something, really hope that doesn't hurt the show. They've already finished filming season 5 and his character apparently has an important part so removing it might require expensive reshoots.

Well there's the problem. my opinions were based completely off of trashy Walmart people.
Well thanks for the honest answer. I world disagree with the previous poster about most LSU fans not hating Saban (unless the word hate is the sticking point, and disliking would be better.) But I also think LSU fans aren't unique in disliking former coaches who are succesful at our rivals.
How would you Bama fans feel if he went to A&M, or Florida?

Honest question, no flame.

Beckham is badass but compared to Landry he has stupid hands (like Fry from Futurama!)

Most of y'all have backed up what I thought which is cool - even though Evans is a powerful physical presence I'd still rather have Landry who I've never seen a ball come towards him which was too hard to catch! He sort of reminds me of a more athletic Welker.

Receivers better than Landry?

I'm but a mere mortal, and unlike many ranters I'm not blessed with coach-vision. To me Landry has made so many incredible catches that even though he's not as physically dominant as some prolific receivers he's better than anyone I've seen this year. I'm looking to the Rant to fill me in on the guys who are better than Landry. Thanks much!
I'd just like to point out that this is the SECr and (mostly) civil discourse like this isn't encouraged.

Having said that - the two squads overall have both been extremely impressive, and there have been enough breakdowns / opinions so I won't offer my own other than to say can't wait for 11/5.

Florida - would have been much more worried with Brantley, but I think having a frosh starting will be too much to overcome, and the tigers will win convincingly (although not with a huge point margin.)

I actually do apologize for this. I'm preparing extra piss bombs to send with the traveling folk to make up for it.

I just read a thread on there which really wasn't delusional at all. Perhaps there are others which are, however we know we don't have any fans like that. Some of their reasonable fans have a good grasp on things. Of course they're going to be excited and optimistic about their team, they're looking at it as their biggest home game in a long time.

That being said, I think we just wear them down on O, and they have problems moving the ball against us. I think we'll win comfortably, but that's why we play the game.

quote:

I worry that the massive LSU o-line is just going to lean on our smaller defensive line all day for 4 and 5 yard runs. LSU's right tackle literally outweighs Bruce Irvin by 100 pounds. Not only would that serve the purpose of getting enough offense for their amazing defense to rely on, it would also keep our offense off the field, limiting the chances we have against that defense. I'm worried, folks. That said, Les Miles always has some crazy $%^& up his sleeve, so we'll hope for a turnover or two, good special teams, and the homefield advantage to turn the tide.

quote:

The aspect I am most worried about is our defense wearing down, aka T.O.P for LSU. We need to at least make a first down or two on most possession to give a break to our D. If not it will be a long second half. Hopefully score, but that doesnt happen every possession as we know. We can't drop passes like we did today fo sho.

quote:

Though I would love to see us win next week, I have to give the edge to LSU. I am trying to be realistic. We can't run very well at all and probably not against their front 4. If we had problems with runs and screens to the edge with Maryland, LSU will be a bigger problem. They have a better secondary than MD (that can be more aggressive without much of a run threat) and MD had large gaps in our front 3 to run through at times today. LSU is lucky or well coached and will force at least 3 to 4 turnovers. We have to attack fast and in the middle and I'm afraid we won't do that. To many plays to the outside and those lob passes in the end zone need some looking at. The (somewhat)power run looked at little better today with Alston, but still short of what we might need to be LSU. Our D sometimes can't get off the field. I don't think LSU will score at will but their D may keep Geno running a good bit. MD is a pretty good team though and good game before LSU. Now MD is how you run a fast offense. I hope Dana has some cards up his sleeve. It should be a good game but I think forced turnovers might be the difference.

Just playing devil's advocate here, and I don't even know why :)
Can't wait to see some of the match ups between LSU, Bama, UF, and Ark. Good ole SEC football!

Then why is Arkansas trademarking a common phrase?

Obviously to prevent other SEC teams from adopting for themselves in a feeble attempt to obtain flagship status.

face it. Arkansas (just like Bama, LSU, Florida, etc) could lose 4 games or not lose any. you just never know how a season will unfold.

Nominated for most rational Hawg post I've seen around here in a while. I solute you sir, and look forward to thanksgiving(ish)
Your statement is so ludicrous, I can't decide whether to respond in character, or for real.

So, I just farted in your general direction.
