Hey genius Brown is left handed. Bats and throws left.
Not a great fit at 3rd base

Yes, opening day is in the afternoon for one main reason. Weather temperature in early February. He does like his players and especially his pitchers throwing in 30 and 40 degree weather.
As far as change the times of games early due to possible inclement weather, is a hell of better than CPM waiting to the last minute or doing nothing and getting stuck in a rain delay in the 3rd or 4th inning and burning your starter.
Just a small inconvenience to make sure games get in and player's safety considered.
Not only the NCAA make it necessary for WW to react, but Dick Vital was bashing LSU and Will Wade every chance he could on TV when calling men’s basketball games. But Kanas, Kentucky and Duke were doing the same Sh?t he accused LSU and Wade of doing.

Tried of the Kelly-Freeman Debate

Posted by AMESSINA on 1/10/25 at 10:21 pm
Coach Freeman took over a full scholarship team that was recruited by Kelly. Kelly took over a shite depleted squad of about 30 scholarships from coach O.
Notre Dame plays as an independent with no conference championship game to play, but picks and chooses who they want to play from the weak link ACC, Big 10, AAC, etc
While, LSU and others play in the Black and Blue SEC conference, beating each other up. Even a Vandy, a down Kentucky and Oklahoma beat top rank SEC teams like Bama and ole Miss.
YOU CAN COMPARE APPLES TO ORANGES!
Coach Kelly die not leave Freeman with a dumpster fire that BeBe left Coach Kelly.
Freeman had a full allotment of scholarship.
Kelly had to start with only 39 scholarships and rebuild.

Just got back home from the weekend in Baton Rouge. I feel like I need to be baptized in the Pearl River to wash the stain of being in the football hell known as Tiger Stadium for this game. It was like one of those Stephen King movies where all the zombie pagans come out at night in some type of mass satanic ritual.

I’m sure there are some okay people who went to LSU. But their fans are a bunch of inbred lunatics drunk on corn dog whiskey. I attended the game with my oldest daughter who lives near Baton Rouge. She’s an eternal optimist and Ole Miss grad who can find something good out of every situation. She said at one point during the second half “don’t be unhappy like a grouchy Papaw.” I told her I was most definitely unhappy. At another point she said “daddy, the girls (my granddaughters) like corn dogs. I reminded her “it’s one thing to LIKE corn dogs. It’s another thing to SMELL like corn dogs.“

I pondered in my mind why God punished me by having a daughter who went to Ole Miss, met my son-in-law at Ole Miss, now living just south of Red Stick Louisiana. He’s a chemical engineer in Baton Rouge and tomorrow will have to face the razzing of the LSU brigade at work. (Yes I’m proud of them both. They have given us three granddaughters and are good and loving parents)

There was the guy in front of me who looked like a younger Junior Samples wearing LSU tiger striped overalls. There was the gal behind me who knew and sang every word, replete with every profane lyric from the stuff they call music blaring over the P.A. system. There were those illuminated wristbands they passed out that a lot of their fans pelted the Ole Miss section with in the second half. They seemed to be targeting our cheerleaders. There’s something to be said for class, and their fans don’t have it.

I would like to see us win a game in Death Valley one more time before I enter through the goal posts of heaven. But winning there sort of feels like Republicans trying to win Pennsylvania. It feels oh-so-close only to have victory slip through your hands, with some shady antics like an obvious LSU fumble recovery being overturned by the officials in the fourth quarter.

Well, it’s another loss in that hell-hole called Tiger Stadium. We could and should have won the game. But from my vantage point, a big cause of their win and our loss was the deafening noise and atmosphere. I believe that rattled Dart. What they say about that place at night is true.

I’ll leave it to smarter football heads than me to dissect what went wrong on our team. But I’ll say this. I hated LSU before this game, and I’m freshly reminded why I hate them still.

Defense was left in shambles after the coach O disaster. Remember we were left with 39 scholarships. CBK rebuilt the offense 1st. Defense is now in the program of being rebuilt and improving.

re: TBH - Hatred for Bama diminished

I lived through the Bear Bryant years and hated it. When Jerry Stovall beat the Bear in his last season was a monumental moment. From that point until they got lucky and got Saban after Rich Rodrigues was to be hired and then back out and stay at West Virginia they were barely over average.
I resent Saban for taken the Bama job and later stated that he made a big mistake leaving LSU. Many people warned him that he would not succeed in the NFL because he couldn’t deal with the over paid professional athletes.
Bama fans think that they are god’s gift to football.
I assume you don’t have any daughters playing sports.

Should have contacted PETE JENKINS when it was determined that Lindsey would be out for a while.

Good News

No Sec umpires in the regional, l will take my chances with any other conference umps.
Many scouts at the game and one total me the SEC UMPS had the tightest and most inconsistent struck zone of all the conference.

re: Season tickets baseball

Been a season ticket holder since 1996. Our seat were down the first baseline for several years and then down the third base line until the new box was built.
When seat selection was done in Fall of 2008 we were able to get green grand stand seats, the only choice that was available to us back to back seat 9 and 9 on row 15 & 16. Season tickets are at a premium and unless you are big donors you are out of luck.
However, there are always people selling their tickets on the LSU Ticket site.
Good Luck
