Please tell me why this bunch is so overrated??

We are doing a tour that goes to vista point then to Muir Woods and then to Sausalito. Instead of taking the van back we are gonna hang around in Sausalito and then take the ferry back over. That’s in the plan for our last day. First day we are doing night tour to Alcatraz

Going to a couple of Giants vs Mets games while we are there, going to Fort Point, Haight, the Castro and to Twin Peaks and Mount Davidson. Gonna eat breakfast and dinner a lot in north beach and stroll around Chinatown. I’m not too keen on hanging around fisherman wharf but the Mrs wants to go there so oh well. She wants to go see the painted ladies houses since she was a big fan of full house as a kid too

Me and the Mrs are going to San Francisco for 5 days in about 3 weeks. Need to know some good restaurants to eat in that aren’t too touristy and some things I might have overlooked (other than the must sees/bucket list stuff) that are very underrated while I’m there?
North Beach Area?
Haight?
Castro?
Fisherman’s Wharf?

I’m gonna avoid Tenderloin as I’ve heard it’s a shite hole and dangerous and nothing to see there.

Maybe a local or a frequent visitor can help me out? I live in Tuscaloosa and would never tell a visitor to eat at Dreamland BBQ while they are here. There are much better options

All the bammers can do is bring up a four game win streak in one sport but the original post is directed at all sports. Thats typical for them a one trick pony
