It looks like Sark is trying tonight to play the disrespect card. Personally I think Day is a decent coach who has the best roster in CFB. It will be interesting to see how tOSU responds to all the praise they’re going to get for the next week. I think we see a pissed off Texas team coming into the game.

tOSU runs the 3 high look a lot (something Texas has notoriously struggled with), so hopefully Sark has something schemed up.

Having essentially home-field advantage... I expect Texas to show out and OSU fans might be saving money for an expected championship game. If we can pack the house and yes, play off that disrespect since nobody is giving us a chance, we may just keep it close and shock the nation.

Honestly, as each day goes by, I'm starting to believe we actually have a chance. We have the players, we just need to put it all together and minimize our penalties. And I think Bert's record at AT&T is certainly better than down in the Atlanta Coliseum. lol

I'm going to be honest, I have little faith we win unless Ohio State plays a subpar game. No idea how we cover both Smith and Egbuka.

Just going to show up, yell, and hope.

I was just reading an article by Paul Wadlington about the betting markets for this game. He framed 2 arguments.

The first being that you should not overreact to the recency bias on tOSU. They lost to a 8-5 Michigan team a month ago, then exposed a very flawed Tennessee and dismantled a rusty Oregon. You should look at them as a whole, and not just off their last 2 games. He said if you view it this way, tOSU should really only be a 3 to 3.5 favorite.

His second argument was that really, this Ohio State team is the most talented team in the country, and their just now starting to play like it. In this case the line is not inflated.

I agree more with his second argument. That being said, Texas is more tested in close games. If it's a 1 score game going into the 4th, Texas has a real shot at the upset.

If the rumors are true and Bert is benched, then we may be able to count on field goals again.

As much as Ohio is talented and clicking, any team can be beat. If we are able to disrupt their offense and throw Howard off rhythm, we may be able to keep it close, and then it's just a dogfight. And we have more experience with those types of games.

All the pressure is on Ohio, we play loose and fast, mistake-free ball, and we have a shot.
