Pistol Pete Maravich. He was every 12 year old boy in Louisiana's favorite Tiger that grew up when Pete was playing at LSU.

Tim Williams was a 3 Star on some sites. I'd say Bama did a good job developing his skills.

I was at the USC Game in Tiger Stadium. That was the longest sustained noise on any game I ever attended. The aisle's were all filled. Couldn't have fit one more body in the stands. A shame we lost but it was the best atmosphere I ever remember.

I said before the season that if just Jordan Mickey had come back we would have been a final four contender. He was great at blocking shots and was a good rebounder and adequate scorer. Would have meant much more to this years team than Martin would have. Could have played Victor at the 4 and therefore kept him out of foul trouble. Not to mention Elbert and Malone would never seen the floor and that would have been huge.

It was a stupid mistake by the kid. Refs definitely had to call it. It was unfortunate for Kentucky but the player just f'd up. Let his emotions get the best of him. I know if LSU had done that I'd be pissed off at the player, not the Ref's. They really had no choice but to call the T.

Actually, it was Paul Finebaum who was a guest on the show that said that it would be a good possibility that he would leave Alabama but only if they won the game. They were speculating that it would most likely be to NYG. Mike and Mike didn't state their thoughts whether they thought Saban would stay or leave. I think it was just Finebaum bloviating to stir a controversial topic for his show this afternoon. Could it happen if Saban was to win another National Championship? , sure it could but it would probably be more likely he stay put and try to win another one.

I rarely post but I was told by my Brother in Law last night the exact same thing. Auburn offered Shoop 1.5 Million a year and he turned it down repeatedly to stay at Penn State where he makes about $800,000 per year. He is on Auburn's Athletic Council. Said Gus is having a difficult time finding a good DC.

I wish Mickey would have stayed more than Martin. Mickey would make this team better with Defense and Rebounding. We would be a potential top 5 team with Mickey still on the team. You would be plugging Mickey for Elbert and Malone. How much better would that be. Mickey could have definitely benefited by coming back.

You are exactly right, Harris can't complete short passes. Very inaccurate at throwing any type of short passes. We've had some open all year and Harris is pitiful at throwing the short pass.

For me it was blowing a 35 point lead in second half to Kentucky in basketball. It is a wonder my TV survived that abortion of a total meltdown caused by Daddy Dale. Although I do love Daddy Dale he could frustrate the hell out of me and also brought some of my happiest Tiger moments ever.
