Terrible mistake in hindsight

Auburn was one of the best teams in college football almost every year and always had tons of talent while he was there from 2013-2020. He basically had one disappointing season in 2020, and they canned him.

Since, they’re cycling through coaches and having 7-5 type of years every year.

It was a big mistake that was akin to Nebraska firing Frank Solich after he went 9-3 in 2003.

Their persistent issues along the OL started with Gus. While he did beat Saban more than other coaches, he was 3-5 against BAMA as HC. His record in other big games was spotty, at best.

This is an exaggeration.

We had a great season in 2013.

We won some big games in 2017.

We were a good team in 2019.

Otherwise we were 6-5 to 8-5.
At times we were “the best of the worst” in the SEC.
