Top 5....but for the ACC to be left out two other conference champions would have to have a higher ranked team and that does not look possible.

So the AAC and Sun Belt?
Pitt plays

Notre Dame
@Georgia Tech
Miami

Pitt could literally knock out Notre Dame and entire ACC from the playoffs if they win all three of those games and then lose in the ACC championship game. That would be the most sPitt move ever.

Edit: I admit it is probably impossible for the ACC to lose their playoff spot. I just find it funny that Pitt has a chance to win the conference.
Exactly, dumb move....

In a defensive game you go three scores up. If BYU can find their offense or get a defensive score in the 2nd that decision might cost them the game and even the playoffs.

Pitt lost to West Virginia and I admit we are basically a college football version of an NFL expansion team! (And I yes I know Pitt has a new QB)

Although I will find it amusing if they somehow win the ACC and make the playoffs for two reasons:

1. It will prove the ACC is a joke
2. Pitt will get crushed by whoever they play in the first round.
Exit polls are useless. Most men don't talk to people taking exit polls so you get goofy results.

And lots of government employees....
I disagree on NYC. Anything that causes NYC to decline in influence is good for the United States.
UCLA got smoked by everyone before they entered B1G play.
Are you ready for LSU football, a franchise of the SEC?

Owned by the Saudi Arabian Government, Disney and Vanguard.

This is going to end in the biggest cartel / antitrust case since the trust busting days of early 20th century. Wait until the courts decide all conferences are cartels and they break up the BIG, SEC, etc.

All you need is one college football program that gets left out with a good enough college football history to bring the lawsuit. They will be able to show financial harm by the cartel.

For those who don't know what I am talking about and who think this is all free market, they need to look up cartels in American history. Basically for example Google and Apple cannot form their own leagues of companies, collude together to price fix, only sell to or buy from chosen league members, lock out everyone else, fix salaries (they already got nailed on that one), etc.

The only way this works is if all the teams in the conference become properties of the league. So for example. Michigan football is no longer owned by Michigan, but is now a property of the BIG, and is a franchise. Worse, if they do spin them off from the universities, can they even use the Michigan logos, mascots, etc.? Can the school even profit off them?
God the announcers are still kissing his rear...
The only good looking pass on that drive was the cold backup...in Florida.

Someone knew what they were doing. To go into Utah and rough them up like that is impressive. The Utes actually have a quality OL and DL too with some NFL talent.
I know they have money now, but to have two better QBs than Arch?

Even before NIL they have had better QBs for the most part. Is it just bad luck, or is it...the dreaded Texas "boosters"?
Might as well, they have two QBs better than what the Longhorns have.

Defense might be better.
Good God he is worse than Iowa's QB and their offensive game plan is early 20th century.
Joe Gibbs...won three Super Bowls with three different QBs, none of which are in the Hall of Fame. Made it to another Super Bowl and lost. There is no other coach who has come close to that.

Never mind....did not see the count college part. So it is Jimmy Johnson.
Now that is a Rich Rod coached team....the good and bad...but a win!

It is always a good day when Pitt loses.
Iowa OL don't know how to pass protect.

Edit: Or their WR don't know how to run routes?
