re: Pitching Lab

Just a joke - we all guessing if and how many pitches Skenes could throw tomorrow. Just jesting if we had WF Pitching Lab we would know exactly. Cause the Pitching Lab was featured extensively on last 2 WG games.

Pitching Lab

Suppose Skenes pitches tomorrow show how far LSU is behind Wake Forest who has the official pitching lab. If Tigres had an official pitching lab we would know exactly how many pitches Skenes could throw including warm ups and soft tosses.

Just like the Office in Andy's Seminar when Jim's childhood friend Tom couldn't hang out with Jim anymore cause his mom thought he was too dumb.
Pretty much everyone mentioned.

Hank Williams (Love to hear your cheatin heart live)
Waylon Jennings
Ronnie Van Zant
Steve & Cassie Gaines
Allen Collins
Leon Wilkinson - The Mad Hatter
Billy Powell On The Piano
Gary Rossingto

Duane & Greg Allman ( I saw Allman Bros about 1 month before they had to kick out Dickie Betts)

SRV
Then evolved into Dimebag & Vinny Paul

And John Prine

Damn. There's really no one left to run with anymore.
Besides the obvious backing in to title game last year depite 2cd in SEC West - it is also ironic Bama backs in as well this year thanks to Florida. Bamas 2 SEC East games Tenn & Missouri. LSU and Texas A&M both play and lose to Florida. If Florida doesn't beat both Bama not in Atlanta this week. But yeah - then could back into BSC championship againg based on "body of work."
Countless mornings I started my day catching up on LSU news at DandyDon.Com.

That was the first time I ever set up a favorite in my browser. Gosh, his blog last Christmas said that he would not see another Christmas.

A great man. Not only his passion for LSU in everyday news, but his knowledge of LSU history and stories as well.

Dwane "The Astronaut" Scales
This past 2011 LSU spring game was really the BCS championship. The truly best 2 teams are LSU Purple & LSU White.

Since Alabama never loses a game - they only beat themselves - who wins an Alabama spring game?
Bama may still get in the championship game - but they wouldn't be sweating bullets tonight if they were SEC champions.
I am another Mobile Tiger.

It's like Night of The Living Dead around here . It has been so peaceful since Nov 05 about 11:00 PM - I had not heard one Roll Tide for a couple weeks.

Now, even though Alabama did nothing to earn #2 in BCS - the Bammers with their Roll Tides are coming out from under everywhere like roaches.

Props to Oregon for accepting a game with another top ranked team for season opener. Could just have been 1-0 by beating some directional school.
I was sophomore that year also.In those days students got in the game with student ID - no student tickets. It was general admission first come first serve for the students. I was in line at the student gate 4 hours or so before kickoff and it was packed & electric all afternoon before we even got into the stadium.

The only thing I could compare it to during my years at LSU was the last basketball game of the season that year (or next) on a Sunday afternoon against Kentucky for the SEC title. Kyle Macy hit a jumper at the buzzer to win it - but thousands of us students camped out on the Assembly Center concrete concourse the night before. It was wild all night long.
My two cents. LSU is one of the 64 best teams (RPI / overall record / etc etc). We did get hosed by NCAA - but with Georgia making it to 3 wins in the SEC Tourney, and 3 sub 500 upset winners in conference tournaments (Alcorn State 27-28 / New Mexico 20 -39 / UALR 24-32), LSU was definitely one of the first four out.

Any one of those 4 don't happen and LSU is in as the 64th team.

Anything could have happenned in any regional LSU might have went to, but point out one regional where LSU had a legitimate chance of winning based on their overall consistency and performance this year.

So if LSU got hosed or not is not the real issue. The bottom line is LSU put themselves in a position of not being in control of their own destiny.

I don't know what the problem is and how to fix it. But the LSU baseball I know on an off year makes it to Omaha but just doesn't win it. The LSU baseball I know is a lock to host a regional every year. Being in this position is unacceptable.
Since Petrino flew the coop at Louisville before the ink dried on his extension he just signed, and since he redirected the Atlanta Falcons team flight after the Monday Night Football game against the Saints directly to Fayetville, I would feel comfortable he is committed to be a Hog.
Remember his high school coach at Leflore Otis Hughley also was hired by Sacramento Kings as an assistant after Cousins was drafted. Hughley swore in the press that his hire had nothing to do with Demarcus Cousins and was based on his NBA connections. Everyone else sees baby sitter for 7 footer.

I remember most everyone around us in Tiger Stadium going crazy when Jacob Hester caught that wheel route TD to get the lead for the first time - only to be wiped out by "Not enough men on the line of scrimmage" courtesy of Early Doucet.
Maybe the players decided to come up with a scheme that will pipe in elevator music to the coaches' head sets when LSU has the ball and let T-Bob call the plays.
Agreed. I am tickled LSU won the game - but LSU should have have higher aspirations than just beating Miss State. To reach those expectations, LSU has to beat Alabama and / or Florida. LSU can not beat either of those teams with the offensice production shown so far. When your FG kicker gets the offensive MVP vs Miss State - it doesn't give teams like Alabama and Florida much to have to be prepared for.
