My wife (no pics) and I were talking to some OU fans outside the stadium before the game. They were so optimistic. ?? I told them, “Yeah, it should be a good game.” When we walked away, I told the wife, “We’re gonna destroy them.”
Yes, I’m a Hattiesburg resident. Patio 44 has the best food in town, since Cotton Blues shut down (Covid victim).
Leathas had the worst service. Won’t be going back. The food is okay. If you go with the attitude “the service will be terrible” you won’t be disappointed. ??
The other day I was in the left turn lane at a red light. First one in line. Some dude on a motorcycle come up behind and passes me, getting in front of me at the light. I lay into my horn. He turns around and starts flailing his arms. What an a-hole!
I live in the Hattiesburg area and people around here are crazy about sno cone stands. The cars are backed up like crazy. I’m baffled.

I read Deep Enough for Ivorybills years ago and enjoyed it.
Even if a corp. offsets their carbon footprint with a long term carbon project, the agreement doesn’t prohibit cutting. The timber company can cut annually to a point that matches yearly growth.
All you guys touting no tree cutting aren’t living in wooden houses or using toilet paper I’m sure!

Actually most of the big corps are offsetting their carbon footprints by getting into the voluntary carbon markets. In these cases, timberland owners sell carbon credits, created by foregoing timber harvest for one year. It’s an annual thing. “Preserving” forests isn’t the answer. They get old and decay. Proper forest management (including harvest) is the key to a sustainable forest.
Have some experience here. The idea related to getting her around other dogs that will retrieve might work. The competitive gene may kick in.

I’ve had success doing this. You can tie some toy she likes onto a 6-8 ft rope and run around the backyard. Hopefully she will chase the toy. An excited verbal “hey, hey” can add to the excitement. If she will chase, get her really into it and let her get the toy. Then continue running and “heying” and see if she will chase you holding the toy. When she gets close, take the toy from her and repeat. After a few sessions of that, it should transition into picking up something you throw. You may still have to run and “hey” to get her to bring it to you/chase you. Try that.

Also, end the sessions while she is still wanting more. Don’t over-do it. You don’t want her to get bored or tired because she may associate that feeling with retrieving.
I’ve got three.

1. 3rd and 17 vs Texas of course.
2. The long TD to Moss vs Oklahoma. It was a nice reward for him for all of the incredible contributions during the year.
3. The long, last TD vs Florida to Chase. Perfect pass and put the hard fought game away. Go Gatah! Got so tired of hearing that during the game!

Greg Cook... the Cookie Man. He was a major part of the run to the Final 4 in 1981.
Local wing place in Hattiesburg has a 15 wing meal called The Tebow. Took me a minute to tidier that one out. ??
